As an 18 year-old, Jules McHugh started out buying cars for friends with limited budgets and who weren’t sure what they were looking for. He soon took on a unit on Mill Road, which acted as his showroom, and he sub-contracted out engine and bodywork repairs to other local companies. In 2018, Jules moved the business across the road where he also gained a workshop and more garage space. He has recently put in a state-of-the-art spray booth so that Mill Road Motors can now offer a full range of services under the same roof.

As a teenager in the notoriously untrustworthy car business, Jules knew he had to deliver exceptional service and quality, reliable cars if he was to counter the natural scepticism of early buyers. He has since built an enviable reputation on cornerstones of:

Ahmed is our Chief Mechanic and manages the workshop. He has a deep passion for cars, in particular German cars. Ahmed has a wealth of experience in the motor trade and has been fixing cars since he was twelve years old.
Steve runs our Bodyshop. Steve is a conscientious worker with over 40 years’ experience in repainting and repairing car bodywork.
Robin does all our Alloy Wheel work and also helps out in the Body shop. Robin started his career in the motor trade at Mill Road Motors; he is a keen worker, dedicated to ensuring high customer satisfaction.
